In this digital age we live in, I have found that we willingly post all kinds of detailed information about ourselves on the web via Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, and all the other social networking sites out that almost anyone can find you. Kind of creepy, eh!?
However, sometimes these things can be good as well. I have a bloggy friend whom I have come to consider a close friend. She is fabulous. Any way, today is her birthday and she was not really looking forward to it. So, last week I decided to send her a birthday surprise. SO....I stalked her, but in a good way. I found out where she worked from a social networking site we are connected to each other on and then googled for her office address. Erica's gift (LOL, Yeah she even blogged about it. )
While she was curious how I found out all that information, I knew she would be cool with being stalked since it was ME and for a good reason. You see that's the thing. There is a fine line between stalker and friend and the difference is your relationship with that person. IE: On our first date my now hubby brought me red roses (the first to ever do that.) It was cool because I liked him. IF some of the other people I had dated had done the same thing.....odd!
So there you have it.....I am a stalker. LOL.
